Season 6 Finale

Season 7 is only weeks away! We’re gearing up for what will be a significant change at S7 launch – a whole new way to join the action in today’s NBA.

More on that coming very soon! First, let’s dive into the final weeks of Season 6.

The star of the summer in the basketball world, Steph Curry, is taking the spotlight in our world, too. A new special edition Chef Curry card is available in a Shot Clock Challenge starting Monday, when the Season 6 Finale tips off. Starting then, collect Seconds for SCC via draft boards, mini and main events, and this very website. Specifically via the daily gift at nba2kmobile.com and weekly streaks at nba2kmobile.com/dailystreak.

S6 Finale also features chances to open Superstar Spinners that guarantee theme cards of specific tiers. Tokens for these Spinners can be earned via draft boards, mini and events, and those same website links above. If you’re in Antimatter tier, each of the three main events will reward enough tokens to open one Antimatter Spinner, where you can pull any theme card of that tier (except Courtside and special edition cards). Same goes for Arcane Crystal, Rose Quartz and Purple Sapphire Spinners.

Tokens will be the final progression reward in main events (for users in those four tiers) instead of specific cards. After you collect them, head to the store and spin for the theme card you want. You’ll get one free spin of the position or star count after your initial pull. Additional spins will cost coins, as in typical Spinners. Spinning the tier will randomize the player but won’t change the position or star count.

A few other notes on events. We’re keeping the 7-reward structure for S6 Finale, meaning you can continue to earn 150 coins and an Epic Gear in each main event. We’re also increasing it to from 3K to 5K users that get the leaderboard card and giving multiple copies to the top 3K. Leaderboard rewards will be juicy, too. Those and the cards you get in lower progression rewards are from previous themes but (mostly) weren’t available in events originally. We’ll announce those rewards on our socials Monday.

What counts for style bonus, you ask? All Season 6 theme cards! And, previous themes will be rotating in the store over the next three weeks, each day featuring packs from two of them.

The Finale has chances to obtain collectibles from past S6 themes, too. Get specific ones in SCC and random ones in main events (leaderboards and progression), mini events (leaderboards) and Crew challenges. Random Card Theme Collectible rewards in Tourneys will give only S6 collectibles, too, including a chance at the latest themes.

OK, you can probably guess when we’re aiming for Season 7 to start. We can’t wait either! Until then, chase those Spinners and the Chef himself. Let’s make the Finale as memorable as Steph’s utterly insane Olympic performance.
